OPEN DAY
A time to rejoice, to celebrate a year's work. A year of strivings, and of achievements. Of growth. Teacher and child have lived in worlds of experience correspondent with the developmental stage of the group. The resulting work, displayed in the classrooms for all to view, is diverse, rich and meaningful. Throughout the day, the children also present performances, both as a whole school and as individual classes. All aspects of learning entwine and fructify each other. The school community comes together on this day and through music, games, picnics and conversation, supports their children and rejoices in the year. We welcome the wider public community to join us and witness the children's outstanding work.
The Ghilgai Open Day is held each November at the School, 295 Liverpool Road, Kilsyth South. There are craft and food stalls, to make this day a nourishing experience on all levels.
The next Open Day is on Sunday 22 November, starting at 10:30am and finishing at 3:00pm.
