ABOUT US
Ghilgai Steiner School is a small primary school set in natural bush.We work within the educational frameworks of Rudolf Steiner which provide a structured, broad, deep, skill-based curriculum. It links with the needs of the whole child as it unfolds in developmental stages. Via core units that form a backdrop for each year the child moves through the great epochs of mankind's "journey". Teacher and children create together worlds of experience that offer integrated learning opportunities. The inner being of the child is nourished and inspired by the literature that marks each epoch.
In a warm supportive environment (maximum 22 per class) the child grows in confidence, creativity and responsibility. We strive for excellence. Our students move into secondary schooling well equipped in all strata of their lives.
Introductory evenings are held each term.
